Strainers

Hansen strainers, code ST, with flange connections are designed for use in industrial and large commercial refrigeration systems. Their purpose is to facilitate the removal of foreign materials from the refrigeration system thus protecting the control valves and other components from damage and undo wear.

Strainers can be installed in-line with flanges, or close-coupled to solenoid valves, pressure regulator or other types of flanged valves. This greatly simplifies the piping and reducing installation costs.
The Hansen ST strainers are suitable for NH3, CO2, R404a/R507, R134a and other synthetic refrigerants.
