HLL & See Level
HLL float switches
The Hansen HLL-series float switches are used in refrigeration systems for electrically signaling, monitoring, or controlling liquid levels by opening or closing an SPDT switch. These float switches are used in electronic level measurement systems and cannot be adjusted by third parties.
The simple and robust design ensures long-term, reliable operation in virtually any application. The relay is mounted in a hermetically sealed, transparent cover, allowing the switching action to be clearly visible while preventing contact with the relay. The entire switch head can be replaced without depressurizing the float.
Hansen float switches are suitable for NH₃, R404A, R507, R134a, and other refrigerants and liquids with a specific gravity between 550 and 1700 kg/m³. The standard switching differential is 50 mm. The switch head and housing are interchangeable with R/S and Parker models.
Applications:
Level control with liquid feed or drain solenoid valve
High-level monitoring
Low-level monitoring
Low-level pump switching
Liquid lines
Discharge gas lines
Suction lines
Oil lines
Features:
CE-PED compliant
PS 27 or 40 bar
Switching capacity: 10 A, 110 or 220 V
Two or three DN25 connections
See level H1100 sight glasses
Hansen steel sight glasses can be directly welded to vessels and piping. They are long enough to allow for easy welding and insulation. The sight glasses are available with grooves or clear glass enclosed in a steel ring, making glass breakage virtually impossible. For applications below 0 °C, a special “frost shield” can be used, ensuring level visibility even at low temperatures.
Features:
Suitable for all refrigerants, including CO₂
DN40 weld connection
PS 25 or 40 bar
