Motor Control Valve (MCV)

MCV stands for "Motor Controlled Valve", Hansen’s motor-operated control valve. The valve is equipped with a direct-modulating actuator and is designed for use as an expansion valve in DX, pump, and flooded systems, as an evaporator pressure regulator for precise pressure or temperature control, or as a discharge gas control valve.

The valve is waterproof and weather-resistant in accordance with IP67 standards and can be installed without an additional heating element. This makes the Hansen MCV highly suitable for outdoor installations (for example, on rooftops).

The Hansen MCV uses a single motor type for all valves. The bright display is positioned at the front of the motor, ensuring clear visibility from multiple angles. The maximum working pressure is 55 bar, and the valve has an MOPD of 55 bar. The valve is supplied “plug & play” from the factory for quick and trouble-free installation and commissioning.
