HDB Oil (drain) reservoir

When automatic oil return is not possible

Sometimes, periodic automatic oil return with the WITT BDP-2 is not possible. In cases of contaminated oil, too low evaporation temperatures, or rapid oil degradation, manual oil draining is often preferable. The HDB oil reservoir is designed to collect oil, thereby extending the intervals between draining oil from the oil dome of the separator.

The fully stainless steel WITT HDB oil reservoir is designed for use in NH₃ systems with insoluble oil. The reservoir is especially suitable for evaporating refrigerant from the oil using a heating element.
